Job Description: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for military, and commercial uses. Sikorsky helicopters are used by all five branches of the United States armed forces in more than 40 nations. Based in Stratford, Connecticut, USA, Sikorsky has outlying facilities in other Connecticut locations as well as in Florida and Alabama. Sikorsky Aircraft's Assembly & Flight Operations (AFO), based in Stratford, CT, is responsible for the assembly and flight acceptance of military helicopters. Candidate should be energetic, open to diverse viewpoints and assignments, and persistent despite setbacks and resistance.

Candidate should be a highly motived individual able to provide business project support to assist the Manufacturing team in successfully achieving all Manufacturing schedule and cost objectives. The individual will attend daily meetings and take direction from the Manufacturing leadership team to provide data to allow the leadership team to make daily and informed decisions. Key roles will be

• Evaluate pertinent data by performing a variety of task analysis and business processes. • Provide support to the manufacturing team in preparing business plans and strategies. • Develop detailed reports on current aircraft status and performance to schedule. • Work with key manufacturing group leaders to identify areas of improvement and strategies to implement. • Assist manufacturing teams in monitoring project processes and resolving issues along the way.

The successful candidate must have the ability to contribute as a member of a diverse cross functional team working on specific improvement projects. Candidate should have familiarity with lean manufacturing, visual factory, standard work, and 6S initiatives. Candidate shall comply with company and regulatory ES&H policies, rules and requirements.

Basic Qualifications Education: Candidate must be working toward a bachelor’s degree or higher in a Business or Technical field. Mechanical, aerospace, operations, electrical, industrial engineering, or marketing and communications degrees are preferred.

Candidate should have strong analytical skills.

Experience: Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment. Self-motivated individuals who have the ability to manage many projects and responsibilities simultaneously are a must. Strong computer skills required (Excel, PowerPoint).
