Lockheed Martin Communications Representative in Stratford, Connecticut

This role will research, design, implement and measure media relations and thought leadership strategies to support RMS business growth. This individual will engage with news reporters and editors to keep the pulse on their interests and offer stories that highlight our technology and employees. Leading the RMS thought leadership campaign, this position will explore new and compelling ways to advance the Lockheed Martin brand by engaging non-traditional media outlets, third party advocates, customers and prospective employees through integrated communications campaigns. The successful candidate will be creative, an excellent writer and collaborative.

Basic Qualifications - Familiarity with developing integrated communications plans - A self-starter who can create opportunities for the business - Excellent writing skills - Ability to interface with employees at all levels of the organization including executives

Desired skills - Media relations experience - Government affairs experience - Social media skills and experience
