Lockheed Martin Deputy Assistant Program Manager, CH-53K Upgrades/ECPs in Stratford, Connecticut

Reporting to the APM, Aircraft Upgrades, New Business Support and Production Strategy

Job Description: This individual will be responsible for capture support and execution of CH-53K configuration upgrades. including programs support for creation, submittal and negotiation of executable upgrades programs and program management of cost, schedule and technical execution of upgrade programs..

Key responsibilities: Planning, Cost and Schedule estimating and management- Oversee key deliverables to the customer in accordance with cost, schedule, quality and technical performance requirements as identified by request for proposal or contract. Approve all project requirements, work statements, budgets, schedules and risk management plans.

Risk and Financial Analysis - Develop and actively monitor cost, schedule, risks and opportunities in support of proposals and contract execution through the assessment of program issues and risks and the development of resolutions and mitigations.

Business Metrics - Develop, review and approve project metrics, primarily EVMS, to track project health/stability and provide visibility to the customer and Executive leadership. Administer and implement program management instructions (PMI). Coordinate project reviews, oversee activities initiated by the customer and manage other efforts required to maintain project support.

Relationship Development – Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, teammates and subcontractors.

Support proposal briefings, gated reviews, executability reviews and negotiations.

Experience: • Demonstrated capabilities in leading and managing complex aerospace programs or projects. • Assertive and results oriented individual with strong analytical program management skills and experience. • Superior matrix organization management skills. • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary environment including interface throughout the entire organizational structure of the company. • Knowledge of and experience with program planning and earned value management tools. • Strong customer and supplier interface skills. • Solid interpersonal, management and leadership skills. • Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills. • Track record of effective interaction with company leadership, external customers and suppliers. • Negotiation • Risk management • Understanding of ITAR regulations

Basic Qualifications BA/BS degree w/ 8+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility. MA/MS degree w/ 7+ years of relevant industry and/or functional experience with increasing levels of responsibility including experience in business management, finance, program, engineering and/or program management.
