Lockheed Martin ITC Technology Specialist in Stratford, Connecticut
Engage with Engineering and Technology personnel across RMS as applicable to provide relative ITC guidance in support of emerging technology development efforts. Review and interpret ITAR and EAR based regulatory changes and develop guidance for implementation to applicable businesses to ensure compliance. Engage with RMS LOBs and applicable internal Business Units to develop and integrate aligned Technology Management processes and tools across RMS. Support efforts to review and revise existing Technology Management procedures and standard work across RMS as applicable to develop common processes. Support efforts to integrate a common Jurisdiction & Classification training approach across RMS. Provide support for the LM-Technology Manager Forum as necessary.
Basic Qualifications BS/BA in Business or STEM related field with 2-5 years of experience in a technical field. Must meet the ITAR definition of a “US Person”
Understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) is beneficial, as this position will provide guidance based on the interpretation of regulatory language.
Desired skills Ability to work in a complex, fast-moving environment with multiple international partners and foreign nationals. Acute attention to detail as well as the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations. Self-starter with strong technical, organizational, time management, planning and follow-through capabilities. Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with strong team leadership.
