Lockheed Martin Program Finance Controls Accountant Stf in Stratford, Connecticut
• Prepare Business Unit TPMs – provide BU CFOs with verbal and written analysis • Write white papers for new contracts, contract amendments and other complex accounting issues • Be a resource for Program Finance – help by providing GAAP analysis and conclusions on issues • Help oversee and manage the quarterly EAC process; ensure SOX compliance for the process • Review Offset Obligation activity and ensure proper accounting is done on a timely basis • Assist with the implementation of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) • Provide training on topics for the broader finance community, especially program finance. • Perform special projects and provide other assistance to other departments and/or business units. • Special projects as deemed necessary.
Basic Qualifications BA/BS in Accounting. Public accounting background, a plus. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word and Powerpoint).
Desired skills The candidate we are seeking will have at least six to ten years of related accounting & finance experience, and excellent oral/written communication skills. CPA and/or MBA considered a plus.
