Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) responsible for administrative and operational security support to the Sikorsky Special Program Security Team. Candidate will serve as CPSO and/or ACPSO for multiple Special Access Programs, responsible for administrative and operational security oversight in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program Security Manuals, Joint Air Force-Army-Navy Security Manuals and other security directives, as required. In this capacity, the candidate will be responsible for formulating, evolving, and driving many of the program’s security initiatives, identifying best practices, driving continuous improvement opportunities, and leading a team of Security professionals in their day-to-day activities. The candidate will be required to interface with Senior and Executive Program Management in support of ongoing program operations and new business opportunities. In addition, the candidate will be required to build and maintain effective relationships both within the corporation and externally with government customers.
Candidate will meet self-inspection requirements and prepare for customer inspections. Prepare security plans/procedures outlining regulations and established procedures for all areas of the Special Program Security Team. Coordinate with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Understand security classification processes and be able to make classification determinations based on customer requirements. Develop security education programs and conduct security training. Investigate security incidents and violations. Prepare reports of investigations for management and customers, making specific recommendations for corrective and preventative actions. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to SAP information. Must be able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, multi-program environment.
Basic Qualifications • Experience working with Special Access or SCI Programs • Excellent written, oral, organizational and interpersonal communication skills. • Excellent prioritization and organization skills • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills • Experience with incident resolution, audit and log analysis and media and device control • Minimum SECRET clearance
Desired skills • Familiarity with the NISPOM, JAFAN 6/0, JAFAN 6/3, JAFAN 6/9, SAPNP and all DoD Special Program Security Manuals. • Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape. • At least five years of experience within the military or industry as the Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO), and/or Facility Security Officer (FSO), working on either a Special Access Program (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), DoD Collateral Program, and/or Personnel Security, Physical Security, Security Education & Training is desired. • Final transferable Top Secret security clearance with Periodic Reinvestigation within the last 5 years • Able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) access.
