Lockheed Martin Sr. Govt Finance Analyst / FAR / CAS / Stratford / CT in Stratford, Connecticut
The Compliance Auditor will report to the Compliance Manager, USG Estimating and Pricing, and will work within the DSS Estimating and Pricing organization. This position focuses on ensuring Sikorsky Aircraft maintains an U. S. Government approved Cost Estimating System.
Review US Government proposals for compliance issues. Highlight issues and risks and drive resolution to ensure proposals meet regulatory criteria. Report issues to management to ensure prompt action is taken, when applicable.
Review and analyze US Government audits and Requests for Information (RFIs) related to Estimating and proposals. Note patterns of inquiry and use such information to identify gaps in the Estimating and proposal processes. Make recommendations to prevent such RFIs or issues in the future.
Conduct Estimating System audit/review, surveillance and monitoring to assess adherence to Estimating-related procedures and compliance to regulations, such as US Government FAR, DFARS, CAS and TINA. Report findings and make recommendations for improvement.
Basic Qualifications Auditing and/or US Government contracting experience is required. Estimating, Pricing, or Purchasing experience is a plus.
Desired skills The ideal candidate will demonstrate many or all of the following qualifications:
• Experience in one or more areas such as Auditing, US Government accounting/contracting, estimating, pricing, proposals. • Experience leading projects that develop new processes or analyze and change existing processes. • Effective written, oral, and presentation skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with management and staff level teammates. • Highly motivated and flexible individual with a track record of demonstrated results. • Experience and ability to drive projects to completion, despite competing priorities. - Bachelors degree with 6 years of professional experience or 4 years of professional experience with a related masters degree preferred. - Former DCAA or DCMA auditing experience preferred.
