Lockheed Martin Security Rep Associate in Sunnyvale, California
Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data. Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DOD collateral classified programs. Serves as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), a Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) or a Security Representative. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (JAFAN/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.
Basic Qualifications Ability to climb ladders, operate lift equipment, crawl along and under floors, work in confined spaces and lift 25 Lbs. Ability to communicate and coordinate actions effectively with individuals at all organizational and management levels includes other agencies outside of the Department. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build/maintain professional working relationships Basic ability to read blueprints and plans. Must be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment Requires excellent organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Strong presentation and writing skills. Must be willing to Travel.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired skills Knowledge of physical security risk mitigation techniques. Experience building and inspecting classified spaces. Experience related to obtaining and maintaining space accreditation. Knowledge of NISPOM, JAFAN 6/9, ICD 705, UL Requirements, DOD security clearance, Fire and Life Safety codes, TEMPEST policy, security policy regarding threat, vulnerability and risk mitigation Understanding of automated access control systems, intrusion detection systems and closed circuit TV systems. Experience specifying Alarm System and Access Control systems configuration Experience working with and producing documentation that is subject to government inspection. Experience working in DOD, SAP, and SCIF environments and all applicable restrictions. Basic AutoCAD or similar experience. Knowledge of TSCM principles, general knowledge of wireless technologies and associated risks and mitigation. Familiarity with tools used in the construction and building inspection trades. Understands security principles needed for wireless equipment near classified areas.
