Lockheed Martin Airframe Shop Mechanic A in Trumbull, Connecticut

•The qualified individual will be required to perform repairs, overhauls, and/or modifications on various aircraft components in accordance with FAA approved procedures, OEM manuals, and drawings. •Perform basic duties on sheet metal and composite components, including riveting, sandblasting, metal grinding and forming with hand tools. •Follow all rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety and FAA regulations.

Basic Qualifications 2 years minimum aviation maintenance experience required. The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability in utilizing component overhaul manuals, blueprints, basic shop principles, and various inspection methods, techniques, and tools. Must be familiar with FAA rules and regulations.

Desired skills Competent in the use of torque wrenches and have a complete understanding of SAC torque specification SS9300.
