Lockheed Martin Commercial O&R Summer Intern in Trumbull, Connecticut

Aftermarket Sustainment Engineering is seeking a highly motivated and versatile candidate to join the Trumbull O&R engineering team for a summer internship. Primary responsibilities include working with Trumbull O&R to meet its on-time delivery requirements through the following tasks: • Development of dynamic systems, rotors, airframe, hydraulics and landing gear repairs for commercial aircraft and foreign military variants (S-92, S-76, S-70 and S-61). • Creation of detailed manufacturing process plans • Solid modeling through CATIA V5 • Shop support of manufacturing issues

Basic Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace, Computer/Software Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Materials Science and Systems Engineering from an accredited University.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired skills The candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision. The candidate must also have excellent communication and problem solving skills, and a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
