Lockheed Martin GMSS Customer Support ITC License Owner in Trumbull, Connecticut
Sikorsky is seeking a License Owner to join the GMSS Customer Support Organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for all license applications related to GMSS aftermarket shipments. The incumbent will work closely with legal, export/import compliance, customer support, supply management and technical data professionals to facilitate, analyze, authorize, and assess compliance of shipments performed under U.S. export and import laws and regulations. The incumbent will partner closely with the business P&Ls and ITC teams to facilitate customer and supplier parts shipments and ensure compliance against approved authorizations.
Key Responsibilities: 1- Provide oversight of the license owners that conduct ITAR/EAR activities and interact directly with foreign licensees under the license 2- Understand the license authorizations & who is involved in activities under the license 3- Understand third parties, customers, and foreign suppliers involved 4- Assign license numbers to shipment transactions to facilitate on-time delivery to customer needs. 5- Anticipate changes to relationships that will give rises to changes in the license 6- Work closely with customer service personnel to forecast shipments and pro-actively identify new license needs and requirements. 7- Work closely with ITC to ensure shipments are cleared to meet customer/supplier need 8- Coordinate monthly oversight meetings to identify problems/concerns prior to an actual violation 9- Establish and oversee the compliance and record keeping system for the license 10- Track and manage licenses 11- Provide key support in ad-hoc projects specific to licenses 12- Support of licensing applications and close-out plan for other licensing corrective actions 13- Sign certification statements to Sikorsky as the license owner (as required) 14- Work closely with the Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to ensure global compliance.
Basic Qualifications Experience in import/export licenses/agreements and regulations.
Technical background within aerospace manufacturing preferred.
Ability to work in a complex, fast-moving environment with multiple international partners and foreign nationals. Acute attention to detail as well as the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
Self-starter with strong organizational, time management, planning and follow-through capabilities. Must have high energy, good interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills with strong team leadership.
Must meet the ITAR definition of a “US Person”
