Description: Logistics Management Analysis
In addition to performing duties and responsibilities as
outlined below this individual will be the Logistics Analyst for this work area and will be accountable for production, continuous improvement initiatives. Must have the ability and confidence to make timely decisions, Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. Must be able to accept critical feedback and apply constructively.
Logistics Management Analyst must assist in reporting, presentation and trend analysis of the organization. Must have Experience troubleshooting logistics management systems. Must be able to work without assistance.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must have
held a USAF skill level 5 (or equivalent) in a logistics related career field. Candidate must have at least 5 years’ recent experience with fighter aircraft maintenance activities. Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read, write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to rapidly secure and maintain a US DOD secret clearance. Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead. This position may require frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
May be required to perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
-USAF skill level 5 (or equivalent) in a logistics related career field.
-must have at least 5 years’ recent experience with fighter aircraft maintenance activities.
-must have at least 5 years’ recent experience with Logistics Management
-Perform basic Excel formula functions.
USAF Skill level 7 (or equivalent) in a logistics related career field.
-Strong Understanding of process development and implementation.
-Experience in interpreting data in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other material inventory transactions to aid in development of metrics and data reporting.
-Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).
