Lockheed Martin Mission Operations Integration in Bethesda, Maryland

Description: The candidate selected for this position will support at an OCONUS site Systems Engineering and Integration team for site specific mission operations. The candidate for this position will have in depth mission user insight and understanding of the NTK customer functional capabilities and mission requirements and bring this experience to the program in support of a team environment, working under the general direction of a team leads and respond to Program Management direction as necessary. This position will provide the program the necessary mission user liaison necessary to influence and/or address enhancements/development activities that best meet mission requirements.

The candidate, in this Mission Systems Integration role, will interact daily with the various program Technical Leads and mission users/customers to evaluate on-going projects and tasks and coordinate the prioritization of workloads that will be utilized in coordinating impact assessment to RFC’s with mission users.

Duties include assessing technical functions and components of the mission and support requirements for mission product management, operations, processing and supporting functions across internal LM program teams and coordinating with end mission users in support of their planning requirements. Candidates will be evaluated and selected based upon team work, ability to support as a project member and/or project lead, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Preferred candidate will have in depth knowledge of the program mission user program management/personnel policies and procedures as well as day-to-day operations and external mission interfaces. Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigations and polygraphs, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Qualifications:

-In depth familiarization with the CHIMERA program mission customers.

-Current or recent residence at the customer OCONUS location in support of specific program functions.

-Familiarization with program architecture's and data distribution systems.

-In depth SIGNALS analysis and mission operational applicability.

-Program customer change management process, cyber security policies and longer term strategic understanding of customer mission goals.

-Able to function as a team lead or team member and work closely with remote systems engineering teams.

-Able to initiate and apply engineering solutions to abstract or minimally defined problem sets.

Desired Skills:

Modeling and Simulation experience in AFSIM and/or similar environment

-Operator training experience

- Space Security program clearances / knowledge

- Knowledge/experience performing target specific threat assessment to maximize mission capabilities and effectiveness

- Advanced Degree in Operations Research or

equivalent work experience
