Lockheed Martin Subject Matter Expert Logistics Support Representative in Bethesda, Maryland
Description: Subject Matter Expert for Logistics Support section will be tasked with day to day oversight and direct logistics support of maintenance operations. Must have the ability and confidence to make timely decisions, Must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management. must be able to work in a team and independently at times. Must be able to accept critical feedback and apply constructively. Will be required to develop advanced plans for action as required.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to.
-Provide On Job Training (OJT) to customer assigned counterpart.
-Accountable for the daily production, and continuous improvement initiatives
-Ensure daily reports are completed.
-Conduct sectional overview briefing for managers.
-Guide technicians assigned internally to ensure tasks are completed as assigned.
-Engage in all aspects of logistics functions as it pertains to proper transportation, receiving, issuing, turn-in, and ordering of program procured material.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: . Must have
strong communications and interpersonal skills. Must read,
write and speak English fluently. Must have or be able to
rapidly secure and maintain a US DOD secret clearance.
Regularly required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, perform
repetitive movements, and perform work from ground
level to overhead. This position may require frequent
standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling,
squatting, crawling, and twisting.
May be required to perform additional duties as reasonably assigned.
*Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- USAF 7 level or civilian equivalent
-5 years MICAP and stock control
Candidate must have at least 4 years’ recent experience
with fighter aircraft maintenance activities
-5 years experience in Customer Service
-Ability to apply knowledge of concepts and principals of planning to develop branch solutions.
-Excel basic formula functions
-Previous experience developing field level operating instructions
-Strong understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
-Experience training Foreign Militaries
-Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access)
-Ability to build and lead a strong team
-Experience managing multiple schedules/calendars
-Ability to manage resources both people and equipment effectively
-Due In From Maintenance (DIFM)
-Ability to manage tasks simultaneously
-Must be able to adjust quickly to changing priorities
-Experience in interpreting data in purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other material transactions to aid in development of metrics and data reporting.
-Ability to speak/communicate in Arabic
