Lockheed Martin Subcontract Administrator in Bothell, Washington

Description: This position is for a Subcontract Administrator supporting Laser & Sensor System programs within the IWSS business area. Duties include issuing RFPs, completing cost/price analysis and conducting negotiations, purchase order maintenance, and interface with functional organizations and supplier management. This person will: develop subcontract specifications, work statements, terms, and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services; prepare bid packages; analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, and administer resulting subcontracts.

Basic Qualifications:

Working Knowledge with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP)

Experience in procurement and subcontract management

Exceptional communication, organization, presentation and documentation skills

Experience preparing bid packages, conducting bidder’s conferences, analyzing and evaluating proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting subcontractors, developing/releasing Purchase Orders, and administering resulting subcontracts

Desired Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure

Ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions, problem solving skills required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Self motivated and takes initiative

Ability to organize and prioritize assignments

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Understanding of Government Procurement processes and regulations
