We are looking for a candidate with a software engineering background to excel in the software engineering areas of: SW development estimates, SW requirements decomposition & management, and SW COTS procurement & management. The candidate should be able to coordinate with the engineering team to analyze and understand system requirements, decomposed down to the software level, in order to determine which COTS products would provide best-fit for the solution space, as well as be the primary liaison with vendors to procure and manage the COTS baseline. The candidate will also play an important role in the program’s Engineering Change Proposals, providing software development estimates and inputs to the Bill of Materials with regard to required COTS.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance is required for this role.
- Software Engineering & Development
- Software Requirements Analysis, Decomposition, and Management
- Strong Communication Skills (written & oral)
- MS Excel – Intermediate/Advanced experience (macros, lookups, advanced equations)
- Acceptable STEM degree programs such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, etc.
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.
- C++ development
- Software development estimating techniques
- DOORS experience
