Lockheed Martin Test Engineer (Electrical) in Cape Canaveral, Florida

Description: Provide Electrical Integration and Test support to the Florida Integrated Launch Operations (ILO) base programs. This consists of leading technicians in the performance of the work documentation and Test Procedures, analyzing test data, and other Test Engineering duties. This position requires some experience at a system level and unique abilities to understand system level requirements. Integration and Test includes assembly of the A2100 Space Vehicle and all performances. The candidate must be able to obtain an Electrical Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification and must be able to work independently. He/She must be able to determine lead times and help build Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) schedules. Create and update instructions and procedures in Automation Framework.

Basic Qualifications:

-Must be willing and able to work off shifts as needed, overtime and weekends as required

-Must be able to travel Domestic and Foreign in support launch of campaigns up to 60 days at a time

-Must be able to travel Domestic to support factory testing in Denver and Sunnyvale

-Must be able to work with general direction and meet day to day testing and integration objectives

-Must be able to obtain a CTC certification in Electrical Test

-- US Citizenship Required

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Desired Skills:

- Some Experience in the area of RF and communications,

-Experience with Automation Framework

- Experience in launch processing activities

-Understanding of Bus and Payload vehicle architectures and electrical test strategyExperience directing work activities.

- CTC experience

- Knowledge and capability to develop written test procedures.

- Strong test process discipline experience

- Experience with Spacecraft operations

- Secret Clearance
