Lockheed Martin F-35 Depot Kitting Material Handler in Cherry Point, North Carolina

F-35 Depot Kitting & Support representative will provide technical services of the supply operations supporting F-35 Depot Aircraft Modifications at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. As the Depot Mod tool room attendant duties will be, but are not limited to, receiving, issuing, and inventorying tools, maintaining tool control database, enforcing strict check-in/out policy to ensure 100% tool accountability in efforts to prevent FOD (Foreign Object Detection/Damage), and building tool kits per the TSRL (Tool Service Requirements List). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring stock levels required to support Depot Mods, providing the customer kit/parts status, assisting with part number/ National Stock Number verification, responding to customer requests for mission support, assisting with identification of tool requirements, generating orders for new and replacement tools, and providing weekly status reports and timely notifications of any major or recurring problems to the local F-35 Depot Fleet Support Rep (FSR) & FTO Program Manager. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, must be a self-starter and possess strong leadership skills, and must be able to communicate effectively with peers, customers, and senior management.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends and 2nd shift as required

  • Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours/day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

*Must have Interim level or higher U.S. Government Secret clearance prior to start

*Must have a Valid Driver's License

Basic Qualifications - 5 years of combined experience in supply chain warehouse operations and tool room control procedures

  • 2 years of customer service experience

Desired skills - MS Power Point, Excel, and Access - Experience with F-35 Aircraft maintenance and weapon systems policies - Familiarity with government tool control policies - FOD (Foreign Object Detection/Damage) prevention/awareness training - Project/process management - Experience with FAR 52-245 inventory management practices
