Summer internship opportunity to conduct special projects and support the day to day operations of the Finance department. Will assist with the development and implementation of Finance projects in support of business initiatives. Will gain experience in a variety of areas including Financial Planning and analysis, Cost accounting and Aircraft costing; providing budget management recommendations, reporting tools and have the ability to interact with finance professionals and the Business Partners we advise.

Sikorsky Commercial Operations located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania is looking for a Finance Intern to support financial planning, operations costs, and the related analytics.

Candidate should be energetic, thoughtful, curious, open to diverse viewpoints and assignments, and a natural problem solver.

Candidate should be a highly motived individual able to provide System administrative Support to assist the Finance team in successfully achieving all Finance objectives. The individual will attend daily meetings and take direction from the site Chief Financial officer to provide data to allow the leadership team to make daily and informed decisions.

• Evaluate pertinent data by performing a variety of task analysis and business processes. • Provide support to the Finance management team in preparing analytics, and reports that help drive business decisions. • Develop detailed reports. • Work with the FP&A manager to assist with process definition, new reporting and metrics. • Assist Finance team in monitoring open projects, database creation, documenting new processes and resolving issues along the way.

The successful candidate must have the ability to contribute as a member of a diverse cross functional team working on specific improvement projects. Candidate should have familiarity with lean manufacturing, visual factory, standard work, and 6S initiatives. Candidate shall comply with company and regulatory ES&H policies, rules and requirements.

Basic Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master's in a Business field,Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar degrees are related discipline from an accredited University.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired skills Experience: Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment. Self-motivated individuals who have the ability to manage many projects and responsibilities simultaneously are a must. Strong computer skills required (Excel, PowerPoint).
