Summer internship opportunity to conduct special projects and support the day to day operations of the Human Resources department. Will assist with the development and implementation of HR programs in support of business initiatives. Will gain experience in a variety of areas including manpower; compliance reporting; applying job evaluation techniques used to establish organizational structure; providing guidance and making recommendations to business leaders and HR Business Partners on all compensation issues.

Sikorsky Commercial Operations located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania is looking for a Human Resources Intern to support compliance reporting and analytics.

Candidate should be energetic, open to diverse viewpoints and assignments, and persistent despite setbacks and resistance.

Candidate should be a highly motived individual able to provide System administrative Support to assist the Human Resources team in successfully achieving all HR objectives. The individual will attend daily meetings and take direction from the Human Resources site manager to provide data to allow the leadership team to make daily and informed decisions.

• Evaluate pertinent data by performing a variety of task analysis and business processes. • Provide support to the HR manager in preparing business plans, and strategies. • Develop detailed reports. • Work with the leadership team to assist with process and headcount analysis. • Assist HR team in monitoring project processes and resolving issues along the way.

Basic Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in a Business field. Human Resources, Organizational Dynamics, Business Administration, or related discipline form an accredited University.

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Desired skills The successful candidate must have the ability to contribute as a member of a diverse cross functional team working on specific improvement projects. Candidate should have familiarity with lean manufacturing, visual factory, standard work, and 6S initiatives. Candidate shall comply with company and regulatory ES&H policies, rules and requirements.

Candidate should have strong analytical skills.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment. Self-motivated individuals who have the ability to manage many projects and responsibilities simultaneously are a must. Strong computer skills required (Excel, PowerPoint).
