Resource Scheduler - Satellite Operations As a Resource Scheduler - Responsible for the planning, scheduling, coordination, and de-confliction of numerous high priority, national interest, satellite programs. Evaluate Remote Ground Facility (RGF) downtimes and equipment outages, assess operational impact, and approve/disapprove requests based upon potential mission impact. Brief local and external users on scheduling contingencies, recommend alternative courses of action, and direct rescheduling efforts. Reschedule satellite contacts during Vehicle Emergencies (VEs) to ensure spacecraft safety. Build initial satellite schedule before submitting to Range for final de-confliction.
As an Operations Controller - Conduct real-time operations in a 24/7 environment using the AFSCN, SOCEM ground equipment, government furnished communications, antennas, and other systems. Perform on-console AFSCN operations support. Support the Flight Commander, provide mission planning support, build/generate command support plans and provide initial troubleshooting to all operational problems. Implement anomaly response plans, participate in Situation Assessment and Recovery Teams, and implement approved solutions. Maintain data and historical files and logs of operational supports. Perform real-time evaluation of spacecraft, payload, and ground systems status in accordance with mission requirements. Perform real-time trending analysis. Issue all commands, directives, and other instructions as required within specified timelines. Conduct post-pass critiques with all parties (other ops centers, tracking stations, etc.). Perform ops testing and support readiness requirements as needed.
Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications Ability to obtain an SSBI security clearance. Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging and dynamic environment. Skills and ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks. Experience scheduling with 22SOPS. Excellent communication skills. Microsoft Office Suite skills.
