Lockheed Martin Info Assurance Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado
This position fulfills an Information Assurance (IA) technical role in support of the Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. Under experienced guidance, the selected candidate will identify technical and operational requirements to support the development of secure solutions and evaluate security controls to ensure compliance with applicable RMF requirements and standards for ArcSight. The ArcSight Product SME will be involved in the entire System Development Lifecycle. This position will be responsible for the design, architecture, development, integration, unit test, installation, configuration, integration, deployment and maintenance to include: ArcSight components, connector distribution & maintenance and ESM 6.x filter & channel configuration. Perform troubleshooting of ArcSight components and applications when security events are not getting collected or collection reaches storage capacity. Maintain the latest ArcSight configuration to address known exploits and collect required security events. Develop automated reporting dashboards within the existing ESM system to provide near real-time reporting of computer system compliance information and maintain overall visibility for all connected assets. Modify the ArcSight operational parameters (filters, channels, rulesets, etc.) when requested. Perform regular required reporting, monitor applicable security resources for updated requirements and compliance directions. This position is expected to be the ArcSight Primary Point of Contact (POC) for the C2BMC Program. The selected candidate must be able to operate with minimal direction in a dynamic customer focused environment while demonstrating outstanding internal and external customer communication/relationship skills. Up to 50% of responsibilities will be performed at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) located at Schriever Air Force Base. Travel is required between Colorado Springs, Huntsville, and operational C2BMC sites to support meetings and work with distributed sites and personnel. In addition, the selected candidate will provide the technical support to the C6ISR Cyber & Security Solutions Team (CaS2T) by ensuring program management and other program stakeholders are elated with performance execution and delivery, and the customer achieves mission success milestones.
Basic Qualifications • CISSP certification or similar DoD 8570 Cyber certification • Experience performing IA activities in support of hardware, software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment supporting Department of Defense (DOD) or Intel IA Programs • Experience with employment of DoD IA requirements, policies, and processes as part of DIACAP or RMF process • Experience with development, integration and deployment of ArcSight to include: ESM, Loggers and Connectors • User/real-world experience with ArcSight, ESM, Loggers and Connectors • Experience resolving upgrading major versions of ArcSight to include: compatibility issues, applying patches, installing hot fixes, connector distribution & maintenance and ESM 6.x filter & channel configuration • Excellent interpersonal skills and technical document preparation skills with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships
Desired skills • Experience with general IA activities such as secure configuration/hardening of DoD Information Systems, system audit configuration, capture, analysis, and risk reduction • Group Policy implementation, troubleshooting and deployment • Network design and/or software engineering background • VM integration experience
