Lockheed Martin Software Configuration Management Project Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Responsible for the successful project and technical leadership (cost, schedule and technical), development, execution, delivery, and support of all S2E2 and O&M Software Configuration Management (SWCM), configuration management (CM), and documentation management (DM). This is a leadership role. This includes, but is not limited to, clearly defining and directing assignments and completion dates to the SWCM/CM/DM team; when necessary performing builds; when necessary supporting configuration management activities; when necessary supporting documentation management activities; when necessary support board meetings and perform as secretariat; management of SCFs, PRs, and DRs; cross train team for strong bench and continuous support; demonstrate positive leadership and encourage positive culture; communication within the team, across functional areas, and across companies; provide weekly schedule, impact, and recovery status to leadership and CAM; provide weekly status charts; support required or as needed program meetings; provide weekly and monthly metrics; identify and estimate risks and opportunities; support engineering change proposals, cost estimating efforts, and BOE development; mitigate road blocks; management within assigned budgets for SWCM/CM/DM; and strategic initiatives for cost and schedule savings. Minimal travel may be required to Boulder, CO; Buckley AFB; Schriever AFB; or Greeley Air National Guard Station (GANGS).

Basic Qualifications • Familiarity with Software Configuration Management build processes • Familiarity with configuration management processes • Solaris, Linux, AIX, UNIX, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Windows, and/or ISPF tool experience

Desired skills • ClearCase/ClearQuest CM tool build experience • RACF and/or PVCS CM tool build experience • BOE writing experience • Metrics establishment and tracking experience • TS clearance at start
