Lockheed Martin Systems Engineering, Integration & Test Lead in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description: This position supports the GPS Control Segment (GCS) Sustainment program in Colorado Springs. Candidate will fill the role of GCS Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) lead and provide project management and technical guidance to a team of approximately 25 engineers.

The responsibilities of the SEIT Lead will include but are not limited to: Requirements Development and Management, System Integration and Issue Resolution, System Safety, Formal testing and Regression testing ensuring delivered products meet operational needs, as well as operational training.

Candidate will also be responsible for coordinating with GPS development programs to ensure a seamless transition of development projects into the sustainment baseline.

The candidate will participate on program boards (i.e. Resource Planning Board, Lab Configuration Control Board, Program Schedule Review Board) representing the SEIT team.

The position requires frequent and effective interaction with internal and external customers, technical staff and program leadership. The candidate will be required to develop estimates for RFPs.

Desired Skills: -Experience with the GPS Operation Control Segment preferred.

-Knowledge of DOORS

-Multi-discipline program experience to include software, engineering, environment and programmatic.

-Previous experience supporting ECPs/proposals.


-Strong technical leadership experience.

-Proven ability to establish, foster and grow strong technical relationships with customers and employees at all levels.

-Proven and demonstrated leadership experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Demonstrated ability as team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with customers/team members.

-Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change, identify issues, work with stakeholders to develop solutions.

-Working knowledge of ClearCase/ClearQuest or similar products.
