Lockheed Martin Flight Test Engineer in Edwards Air Force Base, California
Description: This position is for a Flight Test Engineer supporting the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) as part of the F-22 CTF located at Edwards AFB, CA. Individual will work with military, contractor, and civil service personnel as members of a flight test team. Duties and responsibilities include those of a test conductor (TC), test planning, test reporting and scheduling mission requirements for ground and flight test by developing and maintaining flight test support materials to include flight/ground test cards. Individual will determine and communicate aircraft test and configuration requirements to the responsible discipline engineering, maintenance and flight operations teams to ensure aircraft readiness. Additionally, the individual will conduct avionics & flight science test missions from a control room. Individual will also perform test director duties after all qualifications have been met. Individual will lead the control room team. Individual will also lead test mission briefings and post flight debriefs. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Overtime, non-standard shifts and weekend work may be required in order to support test schedules.

Flight Test program or other related test experience.
Must have an active security clearance.
Understanding of aircraft capabilities and test techniques for modern fighter aircraft. Above average and effective communication and coordination skills. Flight test mission conduct experience. Experience and understanding of control room conduct, principles of Situational Awareness and Crew Resource Management. Ability to interface with all levels of CTF management.
