Lockheed Martin Contracts Negotiator Staff - Special Operations Forces in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Description: Detailed administration and management of complex task orders dedicated to Fixed Wing aviation. Direct support and collaboration with contracting specialists in the U.S. Government, internally supporting a contract management lead representative for Fixed Wing Programs. Coordination and evaluation of basis of estimates, technical and cost proposals, pricing strategy and preparation of briefing charts for proposal pursuits. Internal recording of transactional orders into a contract management system of record, drafting letters, responding to customer inquires, and coordination of contract management work with the program office.

Basic Qualifications:

U.S. Citizen - Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level. Experience in business management, ideally on a U.S. Government contract at the prime or subcontractor level.

Desired Skills:

Experience in the contractual management, and negotiation of aviation task orders with the U.S. Government. Experience working without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Direct work associated with fixed wing aviation programs as a contract administrator for a prime contractor with the USG or subcontractor. Working level understanding of FAR and DFARS with experience with both Cost and Fixed type negotiated RFPs. Full understanding of the Truth in Negotiations Act and is importance throughout the negotiation process. Full life-cycle support to technically insertion into military aviation programs, deep understanding of the contract change management process including unilateral and bilateral changes, funding adequacy notices, and REAs. Experience with development, LRIP and production contracts that are focused on technology insertion into existing air platforms is a plus.
