Lockheed Martin Administrative Assistant to Director in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: As the Administrative Assistant to Aeronautics Information Technology team, the successful applicant will be a committed team member who performs a variety of administrative duties and other tasks.

This position will support three build team Directors and the selected candidate will need to exercise tact, initiative, diplomacy, discretion and sound judgment, relieving staff of details not requiring their involvement. In addition to standard duties described above, the selected candidate will be responsible for meeting management which may include scheduling, attendance management, agenda review/development, verification of chart inputs and documentation of meeting minutes and action item follow through, make travel and reconcile expense reports as well as other special events. Manage correspondence, coordinate office staff, and maintain office environment. Selected candidate will be required to prioritize non-routine situations in a dynamic environment. Selected candidate may be required to provide administrative coverage when peers are unavailable and provide guidance and direction, as needed, to other assistants within the organization.

Desired Skills: Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin (LM) policies and procedures and demonstrates a professional demeanor.

Possession of solid knowledge of company policies, procedures, and systems (security requirements, visit request process, travel, charging, LM People)

Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation in LM Travel.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly adjust to changing priorities.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, and appropriate sensitivity to all issues.

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of government, customers, and corporate executives.

Demonstrated ability to work well independently, but function within a team environment.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and organizational skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

Experience in travel booking and expense reconciliation.

Experience in managing emails, calendar and schedule for leader.
