Lockheed Martin Aeronautical Engineer Staff in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Primary responsibilities will be the Air System Restrictions Database (ASRD) Management for the F-35 Airworthiness Team. Responsibilities will include management of Mission Systems (MS) and Vehicle Systems (VS) watch items to ensure the integrity of the overall process. The candidate will be required to continually improve the overall process by identifying non-valued added steps and determining methods to remove and streamline the process.

Candidate will also be responsible for working with Vehicle Systems, Mission System and System Safety IPTs to ensure that all necessary items are being tracked and properly dispositioned to ensure safe operation of the F-35. The candidate will be required to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Configuration Aggregation and Reporting Tool (CART) system as it pertains to the release of the Air Vehicle System Release Memorandum (AVSRM) due to the critically of the content. This certification document is one of the primary instruments used to clear the software changes on the aircraft.

Must be a US citizen. This position will require special access and a Secret security clearance will be required after starting.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline required.

Systems engineering experience.

Project Management experience.

Experience working with cross functional teams.

Desired Skills:

Experience with MIL-HDBK-516B criteria or FSD/PCL

Experience performing data and root cause analysis.

Experience multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment.

Strong MS Excel skills including use of pivot tables, macros, and visual basic.

Previous experience releasing documents under Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA).

Change Management Experience.

Green-Belt/Black-Belt Training.

Strong organization and coordination skills with high attention to detail.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
