Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maint Spt Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Receives, processes and evaluates the merit of program change request (AFTO 22 s or AF form 252 s) to technical manuals submitted from field units. Uses released engineering in Multi Program Release System (MPRS,) Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) along with background and maintenance experience to interpret technical drawings, wiring, schematic diagrams, and fluid flow charts to write or revise fault isolation, general system descriptions and job guide procedures and verify technical orders match the configuration for each customers appropriate type versions. Coordinates and communicates with the local Central Technical Order Control Unit, Air Combat Command, Engine Depot customers, as well as internal engineering customers to provide world class technical order maintenance for 28 country specific technical orders.

Desired Skills: Experience troubleshooting / diagnosing problems on aircraft and back-shop repair experience Broad working knowledge of aircraft systems is also a plus. Experience using and writing maintenance procedures. Experience using Arbortext Edtior, Isodraw, and Microsoft Office Products.

Knowledge and understanding of aircraft and commodity technical manuals. Maintenance Information Data Access System (MIDAS) numbering, task relationships and familiar with TO 00-5-1 AF Technical Order System requirements. Strong computer skills, attention to detail. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications removal and replacement procedures as well as general systems descriptions for F-16 aircraft systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience with Technical Manuals and/or aircraft maintenance experience.

-ability to interpret to complex engineering data into clear concise technical instructions.
