Lockheed Martin Contracts Negotiator, Senior in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Support the JSF program with contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of Contracts related activities including writing policies, procedures, and directives on contracts issues; research complex issues and provide recommendations for resolution; develop risk assessments and mitigation plans; assist the senior manager on various special projects that requires a significant amount of skill, knowledge, and business acumen; provide expertise and leadership that will be drawn upon by programs from across the business unit. Should be knowledgeable of both domestic and international contracts.

Responsible for all aspects of contract administration on various types of contracts with a variety of customers. Prepare proposals; draft contractual language; conduct fact-finding and negotiation; prepare proposal review briefing packages; prepare and maintain management reports; examine performance requirements; review material estimates, labor estimates and delivery schedules; research contractual issues; advise program personnel and management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; maintain an historical record of the contract; and conduct all actions necessary to close the contract.

** Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Selected applicant will not require a secret clearance to begin employment, but will be submitted for a secret clearance after hire.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience with Department Of Defense (DOD) contracts management and negotiations

Experience with FAR/DFARs, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).

Negotiation Experience

Desired Skills:

Proposal Experience with Multiple Contract Types (FFP, FPEPA, CPAF, CPFF, T&M).
