Lockheed Martin Depot Level Aircraft Component Repair Technical Writer in Fort Worth, Texas
Candidate will be focal point and support Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) F-22 Depot Partnering data requirements as Technical Order Development (TOD) POC. Develop, implement and manage TOD elements of depot partnering assessment and implementation phases. Perform assessment of available data, monitor development of new data, create program elements for management and distribution of depot TOD. Develop Supplier Data Requirements Lists and Supplier Statement Of Work inputs for TOD on all Lockheed Martin Activation and Sustainment procurement packages. provide direction and guidance to Suppliers during data development. Travel or provide telecom support to all TOD Guidance Conferences, Depot Activation Requirement Reviews, Program Management Reviews and Technical Manual Work Instruction (TMWI) In Process Reviews. Provide on-site support of Training Customer personnel and perform TMWI Verification of data. Support Depot Maintenance Activation Working Groups at the Air Logistic Centers providing insight to the TOD program and provide solutions to data support issues as they arise. Assist Depot Partnering (DP) personnel as requested on any DP requirements. Provide assistance/direction to co-workers who assist with TOD Depot Partnering activities. Support F-16 avionics TOD activities in support of major modification programs, new customer requirements, and Technical Order sustainment contracts.
Basic Qualifications Previous aircraft avionic systems maintenance experience, preferably from a military fighter aircraft flight-line maintainer perspective.
Technical Order (TO) data development process experience.
Organizational level aircraft maintenance procedure validation/verification process experience.
Experience reading and interpreting aircraft systems engineering drawings and specifications.
Desired skills Previous fighter aircraft flight-line avionics system maintenance experience. Previous Technical Data authoring experience preferably F-22 and/or F-16 specific. Previous training instructor experience, preferably from a customer perspective. Back shop background or fundamental understanding.
