Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: Exciting opportunity to work in the IFG System Integration Laboratories (SIL) team, which is a part of the Labs and Technical Services (L&TS) organization. L&TS is responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery.

Labs and Technical Services is seeking a self-motivated Electrical/Electronics engineer to help design IFG Hardware (HW) Simulation Lab environments for our customers. Tasks include electrical wiring design, schematic capture, 2D drawings, parts lists definition, configuration management, procurement, vendor coordination, HW fabrication liaison, HW checkout, equipment troubleshooting, Lab HW integration, and delivery to cover the entire HW Development Lifecycle. Assignments may change over time as required by the organization.

Must be a US citizen. This position will require a Secret government security clearance updated within the last 6 years to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with Electronics design, assembly, and electronics equipment and electrical wiring checkout. Experience with interpretation of and development of electrical Wiring Diagrams/Schematics and Parts Lists.

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

Desired Skills:

Tools: MS OFFICE, MS VISIO, MS Access

Experience in Electronics equipment troubleshooting.

Experience in Vendor/Fabrication Liaison and Coordination.

Knowledge of F-16 sub-systems and Aircraft interfaces.

Knowledge of F-22 sub-systems and Aircraft interfaces.

Strong oral written communication skills
