Lockheed Martin Logistics Engineer Stf in Fort Worth, Texas

This position is for a Logistics Engineer Staff for the F-35 Aircraft Sustainment Supply team primarily supporting the Reprogramming Lab Provisioning function. Job Candidate must have strong leadership and provisioning skills as well as the associated analytical and engineering configuration management skills combined with the ability to lead a team of personnel working independently in a Military based Performance Based Logistics (PBL) / Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment. The candidate will lead provisioning analyses activities including assessment of Maintenance Task Analyses (MTAs), and support front-end Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) using various software tools to influence new designs and modifications. In addition , the candidate will lead the coordination and performance of supportability analyses of flight vehicle, and associated support equipment design (accessibility, functionality, commonality, interchangeability), Air Vehicle Design, and Training Devices. The candidate will lead by example in the application of systems engineering and integration process principles for supportability.

The Job candidate must have working knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-1A/2B or DEF-STAN 00-60, MIL-HDBK-502, and MIL-PRF-49506 in addition to a working knowledge of system acquisitions, specifically the DoD 5000 series specifications requirements. The candidate should have a strong understanding of Joint Services Application of Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability Coding (SM&R) and understanding of Maintenance Task Codes and their application and relationship to Provisioning analyses. Candidate is required to be experienced with provisioning development under the construct of the Mil-Std-1388-2B / DEF-STAN 00-60 a validated LSAR database. Related experience with Mil-Std-1388-1A/2A is highly desirable as well as understanding of Contractor Logistics Support and Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and how provisioning data/documentation supports those contracting approaches.

Candidate should have an understanding of US and Foreign Military applications of Integrated Logistics Support. This includes knowledge of concepts, requirements and execution of Reliability Maintainability Analysis, Maintenance Task Analysis, Level or Repair Analysis, Provisioning Analysis and techniques, Spares Modeling, Training Analysis, Support Equipment Analysis, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportability Analysis, Facilities Analysis, and Technical Publications Development and documentation. Specific understanding of the interrelationships and dependencies of these functional analysis activities is highly desired.

Understanding or experience in support requirements definition, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) / Government-Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) / internally developed Information Technology Tools and Software supporting Logistics Supportability Analysis activities is also desirable. Advanced to expert MS Office Suite skills with a strong focus on MS Access capabilities is also desired. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must. The ideal candidate will understand engineering drawings and parts relationships. Must have strong knowledge of aircraft and non-aircraft support. Knowledge of F-35 Reprogramming Lab and/or F-22 provisioning process is a plus. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, spreadsheets and databases.
