Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Associate in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This position will be assigned to the F-35 program on the Post Delivery Modification/Retrofit team. The primary emphasis will be to support the development of the kit tooling required for the implementation of engineering changes on Flight Test and Post-delivery aircraft. The specific task will be to support the execution of specific structural modifications that address limited life issues across all three F-35 variants. This includes but not limited to assisting in performing producibility analysis, in ordering kit tools, development of tooling concepts, performing tool design reviews, and the development of the illustrative usage instructions for installing the specific modification on the F-35 aircraft. This assignment will also require periodic onsite technical support at the depot and operational levels to proof the kit tooling in preparation for the depot mod environment.

Must be a US Citizen; this position may require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelors degree, preferably in an Aeronautical, Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical, or related field.

• Experience reading engineering blueprints, requirements and designs.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with manufacturing and assembly processes.

Desired Skills:

•Prior Leadership Development Desirable

. Prior Military a bonus

. Current SECRET Clearance a bonus

•Familiarity with Computer Aided Design

.Prior 4th or 5th Gen Fighter Aircraft Experience Desirable

. Prior Flightline Operations Experience Desirable

. Prior Aircraft LO Finishes Experience Desirable

•Lean Principles, Root Cause Analysis, Microsoft Project, Problem solving skills

•Good written and verbal communication for interfacing with technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers.
