Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Senior in Fort Worth, Texas

F35 Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the LFF Finishes Team. Primary responsibilities include direct shop floor support, maintaining manufacturing plans, process standards, tooling requirements, engineering change implementation, and process improvements. This includes but is not limited to determining root cause of non-conformances, implement Corrective Action, investigating tooling issues, assessing and providing tooling corrective action, initiating tooling rework activities, and providing technical support to the Production Team. Provide technical assistance to leadership, supervision, and painters to ensure all product is processed in compliance with Finishes requirements, provide work around plan development as required, and support improvement initiatives.

Some weekend and overtime support required in this position.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications -Experience in Manufacturing Engineering activities such as: manufacturing producibility, formulation of manufacturing plans & associated documentation, Engineering change & process implementation and/or effective methods of shop floor support. - Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience - Experience with Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Desired skills Knowledge of LM Aero F-35 Systems (CATIA, PDM, VAS, QADS, SFM, CAPP, ICA), Lean Principles, and Continuous ImprovementPossess working knowledge of LM-FW Tooling

Prior experience of Fighter aircraft (5th Generation) Low Observable coatings and related manufacturing processes desirable.

Ability to be a self-starter, who is highly motivated and can operate independently in a high-tempo environment and possesses the capacity to work in a changing environment with minimal supervision or direction

Capable of working in multi-functional teams

Effective written and verbal communication skills Must be able to effectively communicate tooling, assembly and integration techniques to engineering and touch labor.
