Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Engineer Sr Stf in Fort Worth, Texas

F-35 Manufacturing Engineering Lead for F-35 J860 Mate. This person will provide technical leadership for the M.E. team to develop / implement cost, span, and quality improvements, provide Floor Support, and solve issues impacting Mate Operations. Responsible for coordinating with other support organizations (Engineering, Planning, Tooling, Facilities, Quality etc.) to support full rate production.

Responsible for leading team to maintain manufacturing plans, maintain precedence diagrams, create / maintain manufacturing process standards, create tooling requirements, review / implement engineering changes, and develop / implement process improvements across all shifts. This includes but is not limited to determining root cause of non-conformances, implementing Corrective Action, investigating tooling issues, assessing and providing tooling corrective action, initiating tooling rework activities, developing work around plans, and providing technical support to the Production team. M.E. Lead shall provide technical assistance to Production leadership and mechanics to ensure all product is processed in compliance with engineering and specification requirements.

Some weekends and overtime may be required in this position.

Basic Qualifications Experience reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, specifications, and tool designs.

Experience supporting manufacturing and assembly processes.

Firm working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Working knowledge of tooling and assembly processes.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills F-35 Manufacturing Engineering and Tooling experience.

Knowledge of Interchangeable/Replaceable requirements, processes, and tooling.

Leadership Development Training or Prior Leadership Experience.

Proven ability to lead large complex projects from start to finish.

Proficient using F-35 Manufacturing Systems (CATIA V4/V5, PDM, VAS, CAPPS, QADs, SFM, EWI, ICA)

Knowledge of Lean Principles and experience driving continuous improvement.

Experience performing complex Root Cause Analysis and Implementing Corrective Action.

Developing and managing projects to Microsoft Project Schedules

Demonstrated application of Problem Solving skills.

Good written and verbal communication for interfacing with technical support team, build team, and internal and external customers.

Knowledge of GD&T and experience reviewing engineering designs for producibility.
