Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Support Team Member Associate in Fort Worth, Texas

This position will support manufacturing activities of a represented workforce to accomplish cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives for one of the F35 production build teams; Forward & Machining, Wing, Mate, Final Assembly, Component Final Finishes, or Satellite Shop areas. Tasks include executing the build plans for structural assembly, systems installations, and final finishes application. Identifies and implements changes to improve quality, schedule, cost, and safety. Reinforces a culture that values and embraces Foreign Object Damage prevention. Provides a safe work environment and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance. Embraces and fosters the tenets of Performance Management Teams to identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes. Engages the team by proactively driving continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance. Grows the business embracing the tenets of Performance Management Teams to identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes and foster employee engagement. Performs on existing contracts and positions the company for new contract Wins by leading manufacturing activities and supporting the represented workforce to accomplish cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives for one of the F35 production build teams; Forward & Machining, Wing, Mate, Final Assembly, Component Final Finishes, or Satellite Shop areas. Assures the timeliness and accuracy of aircraft records. Executes build plans for structural assembly, systems installations, and final finishes applications. Identifies and implements changes to improve quality, schedule, cost, and safety. Reinforces a culture that values and embraces Foreign Object Damage prevention. Provides a safe work environment and takes timely corrective action to correct unsafe conditions. Assures employees and leadership comply with defined Functional processes and defined processes that are program specific. Must be a US citizen, this position accesses export controlled data.

Basic Qualifications - Experience with manufacturing and/or production methodologies. - Experience using tools, machines, and systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment.

Desired skills F-35 manufacturing experience. Working knowledge of LM Manufacturing Systems including, EDMS, SAP, QADs, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI. Assembly, production, or MMRO (maintenance, Modification, repair, and overhaul) experience. Aircraft Finishes or low observable coatings experience. Experience with LM organizational environment to include production engineering, manufacturing engineering, production control, and industrial engineering. Excellent communication skills.
