Lockheed Martin Material & Process Engineer (Entry Level) in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Support the execution of internal and contracted research and development of Low Observable (LO) material systems for use on LM Aeronautics platforms including F-35, F-22, F-16 and ADP. Will work under the close direction and supervision of senior engineers. Position will require significant material coupon preparation and test involvement. Knowledge of standard (ASTM, SAE, NIST, etc.) test procedures a plus. Must be flexible and able to work on multiple activities simultaneously. Must have good written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written test procedures and provide input to test reports. Must be able to summarize results and provide input to presentations for customers. Experience leading projects as well as giving senior level technical briefings is beneficial. Six Sigma certification is beneficial. Experience researching low cost, high temperature materials is necessary. BS degree required. Good understanding of experimental design and test plan execution is valuable. Security clearance and respirator certification will be required.

Bachelors degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience leading team members in fabrication processes
- Knowledge of advanced aircraft signature materials manufacturing requirements & processes
- Proficient with Solid Works, AutoCAD, and MATLAB
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ESH regulations is desired, but not
- Ability to work in a team environment
