Lockheed Martin Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor in Fort Worth, Texas

Will lead manufacturing activities and represented workforce to accomplish cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives for one of the F35 production build teams; Forward & Machining, Wing, Mate, Final Assembly, Component Final Finishes, or Satellite Shop areas.

This position will be for supervisory positions that could be on first shift, second shift, or third shift.

Assign daily tasks to mechanics, electricians, machinists, and finishers to execute daily crew plans. Assures the timeliness and accuracy of aircraft records. Executes build plans for structural assembly, systems installations, and final finishes application. Fully utilize the Aeronautics Manufacturing System tools, guidelines and principles with assigned build area. Identifies and implements changes to improve quality, schedule, cost, and safety. Reinforces a culture that values and embraces Foreign Object Damage prevention. Ensures certification of employees who perform certification required tasks. Provides a safe work environment and takes timely corrective action to correct unsafe conditions. Assures employees and leadership comply with defined Functional processes and defined processes that are program specific. Proactively drives continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance. Embraces and fosters the tenets of Performance Management Teams to identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes. Identify gaps in skill sets. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement. Engages the team by proactively driving continuous improvement and development of technical competencies, talent, and performance. Grows the business by embracing the tenets of Performance Management Teams to identify and lead incorporation of continuous improvement actions into manufacturing processes and foster employee engagement. Identify gaps in skill sets using the, Job Proficiency Guides, Knowledge Skills and Abilities tracker, and Get to Excellence plans to close those gaps. Collaborate with Labor Relations and Human Resources to enhance employee engagement. Basic Qualifications - Experience with manufacturing/production methodologies. - Experience using tools, machines, and systems typically used in a production/manufacturing environment. - Experience with business metrics to drive performance (cost, schedule, quality, and safety). - Experience leading groups of individuals.

Desired skills Working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems including, PDM, MRP, SFM, and EWI. Assembly, production, or MMRO (maintenance, Modification, repair, and overhaul) experience Aircraft Finishes or low observable coatings experience Working Knowledge of Crew Plans Forecasting and utilization of manpower planning Excellent communication skills Demonstrated successful leadership experience Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors
