Lockheed Martin Operations Analyst Staff in Fort Worth, Texas

As a member of the Operations Analysis organization, the candidate will be performing cost modeling and analysis of military systems to quantify domestic and international budgetary assessments, aircraft procurement cost, operations and sustainment cost, force mix/structure sizing, and acquisition programs. Responsibilities will include researching military systems performance and operations, modeling cost effectiveness metrics for domestic and international force structures, generating Operating and Support (O&S) cost assessments, and providing various force structure assessment trades. In this role, the individual will act as the Operations Analysis Cost lead.
The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment is critical. This individual will be in the Aeronautics Strategic Planning Operations Analysis team; however, their focus will be to provide analysis products to the Strategic Studies Group. This will include air combat force structure, force mix, and budgetary cost assessments supporting the ASBD organization. This candidate will develop and apply methods for evaluating emerging war fighting concepts and technologies. They will collaborate with leadership to define study objectives, identify Measures of Effectives, select/develop analytical approaches, execute analysis, and communicate of results. This individual may also be called on to support analysis for any program/platform needed within the Operations Analysis organization.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. An Active Secret Security Clearance with a current background investigation is required to start. The ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearances and access to Special Access Programs will be needed after hire.
Desired Skills: --Knowledge of military acquisition programs, finance modeling, cost benefit analysis, force structure studies, and/or campaign modeling.
--Familiarity with military (domestic and international) force structures and service management systems/databases such as AFTOC
--Experience with Excel and VBA
--Mathematical and/or Statistical Modeling skills
--Experience with Operational analysis Tools is desired
--Design of experiments and/or optimization knowledge
--Ability to formulate structured approaches for analyzing complex problems involving multiple domains.
--Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Estimating, or Engineering Management with 5-7 years of professional experience within this field
--Experience thinking analytically and problem solving while working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
--Experience with DoD Acquisition processes
--Experience in military force structure and acquisition programs.
--Experience in Microsoft Office suite.
