Lockheed Martin Operations Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas

As a member of the Operations Analysis organization, the candidate will be performing modeling and analysis of military systems to quantify the impact of operational concepts (CONOPS), system design, payloads, weapons and tactics, and force size/mix on survivability and mission effectiveness, as well as perform analysis to support requirements definition, concept of operations evaluation, operational and cost effectiveness studies, and military utility assessment. Responsibilities will include researching military systems performance and operations, modeling military systems and scenarios in digital simulations, executing trade studies utilizing constructive engagement and/or mission simulations, quantifying Measures-of-Effectiveness (MOEs), analyzing simulation results to draw meaningful conclusions, preparing reports/briefings and presenting analysis results.
The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment is critical. This individual will be in the Deputy, Strategy, and Operations team; however, much of their work will be supporting the entire OA Directorate. In this role, the candidate will not only be performing Operations Analysis but will also be supporting the Deputy Director with the Operations for the OA Department. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for supporting executive briefings across the OA Directorate and supporting the Deputy Director. The position will require regular coordination with directorate leadership and project leads across LM Aero sites; as well as coordination with other functional organizations.
-Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. An Active Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
--Candidate must have a Bachelor's or Above technical degree
--Experience with one or both Linux and Windows.
--Experience with building presentations in PowerPoint to covey complex messages to executive leadership
--An active Interim Secret government security clearance is required to start along wit the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance and access to Special Access Programs.
--Experience in a field related to Military Operations Analysis; such as, Vehicle Design, Sensors, Signature Management, Weapons, Space, Cyber, Strategy, Human Systems Integration, or Electronic Warfare.
--Prior experience in system engineering or military operations analysis desired; including, experience in military constructive simulations or trade study design.
- Have the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
--Prior experience with Excel/VBA/C++/JAVA/PERL/XML
--Mathematical and/or Statistical Modeling skills
--Knowledge of military systems; with experience modeling employment of weapon systems and the operation of threat air & ground systems in simulations
--Prior experience with Operational analysis Tools is desired (ESAMS, JAAM, BRAWLER, SUPPRESSOR, EADSIMS, AFSIM, MOSAIC, THUNDER, CFAM)
--Microsoft Office Expert
--Design of experiments and/or optimization knowledge
--Good written and verbal communication skills
--Experience with analytical thinking and problem solving skills are required.
