Lockheed Martin Operations Engineer Staff in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: As part of the Capacity and Rate Readiness team, you will be mitigating new challenges in a rapidly changing environment. This supply chain professional will support the development of optimized material flow from suppliers/teammates to satisfy the evolutionary customer demands.
Specifically, this professional will lead and participate in supplier evaluations whose charter is to assess the suppliers’ readiness to meet the production and sustainment needs of the Aeronautics Lines of Business. They will also analyze capacity across the supply base to identify risk and business maturity. This information will be utilized across SCM and Aeronautics to improve supplier performance.
Candidate must have demonstrated ability to formulate effective action / project plans and lead cross functional teams to achieve results. Candidate must also show demonstrated ability to brief and interact with internal and external customers, suppliers, and executive leadership on a routine basis. Up to 30% travel both domestically and internationally will be required.
Must be a US Citizen, position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Industrial Engineering degree from an accredited college
Experience leading a project, process improvements, or program
Project management skills and experience
Experience coordinating effectively with team members, internal and external customers and senior leadership.
Experience preparing and making presentations to various audiences, up to and including senior leadership.
Experience in supply chain with a background in a manufacturing environment
Experience coordinating effectively with team members, internal and external customers, and senior leadership
Lead and/or Facilitation experience in a structured improvement activity
Experience with Global Supply Chain execution
Knowledge of risk management
Knowledge of quality management systems and processes
Knowledge of the engineering release process
Knowledge of LM procurement practices.
Knowledge/experience using LM information systems including SAP, VAS, PDM, JDL, SFM and QADS.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Microsoft Access and/or SQL experience.
