Lockheed Martin Project Management and Planning Operations Representative in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: Requisition is for the role of Action Officer reporting to the Director of Fort Worth Wing Assembly & Systems build operations. Primary responsibilities include; execution of build team business rhythm, collection, preparation, and reporting of key performance metrics, accurate and timely internal/external communication flow, documentation and follow-up of action items, and overall project management of strategic initiatives to ensure effective cross-build team and cross-functional coordination/integration.
Position will provide oversight and support of internal and program required business rhythm, to include facilitation of recurring meetings, as well as scheduling and establishment of ad-hoc emerging requirements and reviews.
Prime contact for Executive level reviews. Ensures completed staff work, to include the consolidation and aggregation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) associated with Quality, FOD, Cost, and Schedule. Monitors and assesses KPI trends and provides analysis and feedback to senior production leadership.
Coordinates with fellow Action Officer across F-35 Production Program. Ensures integration and commonality of effort associated with VIP engagements, tours, reviews, and employee engagement activities.
Documents and tracks action items on behalf of build team senior leadership. Ensures timely and accurate follow-up/closure, to include elevation of constraints jeopardizing critical milestones and performance goals. Provide and apply robust project management skills. Ensure assigned projects have detailed plans, time-phased schedules, assigned ownership, and resources needed for accomplishment. Drive accountability and follow-up to key stake holders, primary POC’s, and action item owners resulting in flawless execution. Additionally, will partner with senior build team leadership in strategic planning activities needed to prepare for future, increased production rates.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
• Project Management experience
• Familiarity with entire suite of MS Office tools
• US Citizen/Legally Authorized to work in US as permanent resident
• Prod Ops/Manufacturing experience
• Metric Development and Reporting
• Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Continuous Improvement
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma/Green Belt Certified
• Exceptional Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Experience with deadlines and program tempos and process improvements.
