Lockheed Martin Quality Assurance Engineering Senior Manager in Fort Worth, Texas

The F-35 Aircraft Final Assembly and CFF Sr Manager will report to Quality & Mission Success (Q&MS) Site Director, and be responsible for guidance and direction to subordinate F-35 Q&MS Leaders and Quality Teams in the support of all Quality initiatives in this area. Will guide team to implement preventive engagement procedures, methods, techniques and be responsible to administer organizational budgets, projects, schedules, and performance standards. Will accomplish results through subordinate team leads, quality engineers, Supplier Quality team, and Sustainment Quality team. Will implement methods that will include root cause analysis, manage process improvement and control techniques, and supplier quality integration/improvement tasks. Responsible and accountable for implementing effective methods and techniques that will drive and improve overall quality performance, inclusive of supply chain. Will collaborate with various Q&MS elements and other support functions and customers to meet program quality, cost, and schedule objectives and commitments. Direct Q&MS Team areas of responsibility primarily include Assembly, Test, and CFF across Fort Worth, Texas, but can also include initiatives and engagement across in country and international MOD and Sustainment sites, and suppliers, as required. Significant executive leadership and customer (SPO, DCMA, International Customers) exposure exists, with the expectation to lead and influence their policy, contracts, and requirements to help enable a successful and affordable F35 Production program.

Basic Qualifications Experience in a quality leadership role. Experience in budget and cost management control. Ability to travel 10% of time. Previous experience in Cost Account Management, preferably LMCO CAMs. Experience creating organizational strategies and planning. Technical writing experience. BS degree in a relevant field Experienced interacting with customers (DCMA, Program Office).

Desired skills Previous success with efficiency and innovation in a high pressure cost/ affordability environment. Previous program lead or leadership role. STEM degree. Green Belt/Black Belt trained. Contractual bidding/estimating and execution experience (negotiating experience is a plus). ASQ Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence. Understanding of F-35 Business Model (Production, and Sustainment interdependencies).
