Description: The industrial Services Integrated Project Team (IPT) Lead takes direction from the Director, Global Modification Operations and Depot Activations IPT Lead and is responsible for the technical performance of the Industrial Services IPT and performs all managerial functions for both Industrial Services and Fleet Mod/Retrofit IPTs for the F-35 program. Job Responsibilities include: Supports Global Fleet Management IPT lead by providing technical direction to the Industrial Services IPT, as well as performing supervisory functions for 24 people within the Industrial Services IPT and the Fleet Mod/Retrofit Project Lead’s IPT. Specifically this includes detailed planning, technical direction, cost & schedule management, cross-IPT coordination & integration, and personnel actions including appraisals, staffing & disciplinary actions. Primary focus is to plan and provide oversight into original equipment manufacturer (OEM) developed rate repair capability and then replicate the capability globally in support of F-35 operations and Partner Nation requirements. In addition, this team is responsible for the design and integration of Depot Operations activities with the LM Enterprise System and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS.) Other scope of responsibilities includes requirements management, metrics development/management, and performance management to Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs.)

Therefore, the person occupying this leadership position must possess a broad background & the interpersonal skills to deal with a wide variety of personalities both within & outside of the Depot Operations IPT.
He/She must be able to take direction from the Global Modifications & Depot Activations IPT lead and execute accordingly.
Requires extensive knowledge of maintenance planning process, repair level analysis, repair concepts, modification & retrofit processes, maintenance, repair & overhaul operations, supply chain management, applicable USC Title 10 depot statutes, Depot Partnering and Site Activation processes.
Requires previous organizational, intermediate, and depot level maintenance, planning, management and training experience.
The applicant should be considered an expert authority in the logistics support discipline.
Prior operations management, project management, process improvement, modeling/simulation, and verification/requirements management experience is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and knowledge of MS Office tools highly desirable
