Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: This is opportunity to work on the Labs and Tech Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. This position is part of the highly innovative Labs & Technical Services organization, responsible for developing, testing and maintaining aircraft simulation systems and subsystems utilized for aircraft capability integration and weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L &TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time and hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and vehicle systems integration venues.

This position is for F-35 MS Labs (Mission System Laboratory) Senior Systems Engineering. The primary set of responsibilities of this position is to serve as a system integrator. The test lines are key test venues for integrating, verifying and reprogramming the F-35 Aircraft Mission Systems capability in a Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) laboratory environment. This position will include system integration across multiple test lines and test line subsystems.

Candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and advice to the laboratory staff to support integration, operation, and upgrades to the system.

This position may require unique program security clearances.

Must be a US citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

There is potential to be performing other work or supporting other projects within the labs or E&T overall.

Basic Qualifications:

-Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university

-Experience in performing one or more of the following: system requirements development, system design development, system integration and verification.

-Experience with simulation systems.

Desired Skills:

-Degrees preferred: Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering

-Knowledgeable using the following Tools DOORS, MatLab, SysML, Rhapsody

-Knowledgeable of F-35 Missions System Architecture

-Knowledgeable of F-35 Mission System Sensors

-Experience working in a Laboratory environment

-Good communication skills both verbal and written.

-Candidate has familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems, DOORS requirements management tool, and system performance analysis and validation.

-Has a demonstrated software or hardware development experience.

-Strong oral written communication skills

-Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

-Strong work ethic and self-motivation
