Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr in Fort Worth, Texas
Description: This position will support F16 and F22 Reliability and Field Performance. Responsibilities will include:
-Using analytics techniques to identify failure trends in maintenance data.
-Developing reliability predictions using approved prediction methodologies for electrical/electronic equipment
-Evaluating fix effectiveness using statistical trend analyses tools
-Performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), at the schematic (piece-part) and system level.
- Supporting design reviews as required and presenting reliability results to management and customer.
- Reviewing engineering drawing.
- Supporting failure investigation teams and developing reliability assessments based on root cause of flight and ground test anomalies / failures.
Must be US Citizen and able to obtain Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an Engineering Field.
•Experience identifying Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
•Perform Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
•Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/RELEX).
•Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations.
•An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
•Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications.
•People skills: assertive, people orientated, motivated, ability to multi-task, self-starter.
Familiarity with reliability fundamentals and basic understanding of root cause analysis.
•Able to work with all types of disciplines (management, design, engineering, etc.)
Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy and quick delivery. Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
