Lockheed Martin Telecom Support in Fort Worth, Texas

Description: As a team member in the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Data, Voice, & Video (DV2) Infrastructure organization, this position will assist in managing a complex suite of network circuits, cabling and voice hardware across an enterprise network environment within the DV2 South Region team.

This position is also responsible for successfully maintaining lean operating processes and procedures for managing change, problems, and overall service consistent with the EIT strategic objectives.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintain Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Voice Networks (EVN) and stand-alone PBX systems utilizing TDM and VoIP technologies.

- Fault isolation, troubleshooting of EVN and associated peripherals.

- Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.

- Service management to include incident, change and service requests.

- Incident coordination and escalation with Enterprise Voice System vendors.

- Provide customer service, training and technical support to LM customers.

- Investigate customer issues and design appropriate solutions.

- Configure and maintain Call Managers and Voice Gateways.

- Perform Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletes (MACD) on Voice Networks.

- Create, edit and update Standard Operating Instructions (SOI).

- Respond, replace, and repair voice communication equipment to maintain optimum availability for the customer base.

- Willingness to work some off hours and rotational on-call (24x7) support.

- Some travel as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Demonstrated understanding of telecommunications standards and concepts.

Demonstrated experience in telecommunications switching systems administration and implementation.

Working knowledge of carrier telecommunications technologies (e.g.

ISDN, SIP, and VoIP).

Working knowledge of analog, digital and VoIP endpoint provisioning, administration, and troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Network, TCP/IP, switching and routing technologies.

Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Able to successfully multitask assignments and perform in a fast-paced, schedule driven environment.

Demonstrated self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.

Cisco CUCM

Avaya CM


Voice Mail systems (AVST, Unity, etc.)


Knowledge of Configuration Management within an IT organization.

Knowledge of incident management systems i.e., Remedy or Service Central.

Knowledge of Copper/Fiber Cable Plant operations.

Knowledge of commercially provided circuits (Point-to-point, Dedicated).

Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Working knowledge of SharePoint, and Visio.
