Lockheed Martin Quality Engineer Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas
Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineering Manager for the Energy Storage Market Segment within the Energy Line of Business. This position will be located in the Grand Prairie facility and have responsibilities across the Lithium-ion and Coordinated Chemistry Flow Battery (CCFB) Energy Storage Systems. While this position home location is Grand Prairie, much of these efforts take place across a diverse set of locations and will require up to 50% travel.
As the Quality Manager for Energy Storage programs, this individual has responsibility for all aspects of the ISO-9001 based Quality Program, including product development, rate-production, supplier management, customer installations, and warranty efforts.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline or another field combined with relevant experience.
Advanced understanding of Quality principles and the ISO-9001 Quality standard.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Experience in design assurance and producibility
Experience in Control Account Management
Experience in materials science and coatings
SAP experience in Quality modules
Material Review Board (MRBQ) experience
Experience working with a diverse set of customers
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders
Demonstrated understanding of Quality audit techniques.
Experience in establishing Performance Metrics for identifying process improvement.
Ability to travel
Experience working within the commercial energy environment.
Previous experience working with Lithium-ion and Flow Battery systems.
Advanced understanding of AS 9100, TS16949, APQP, and PPAP Quality principles
Experience driving robust Corrective Action and Continuous Improvement programs.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
ASQ CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and / or CQIA (Certified Quality Improvement Associate).
Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment.
Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations.
Experienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)
Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification
Current Secret Security Clearance
