Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer. Experience level for this position is 9 years with a Bachelors degree (or 7 years with a Masters degree).

Quality engineering is seeking candidates to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative solutions that provide the best product for our customers, both domestically and internationally.

Quality Engineers at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control act as an integrated member of the design and production teams developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.

To ensure our customer get the highest level of Quality, our Quality Engineers review documentation related to internal manufacturing processes to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

Basic Qualifications:

Active secret (background within the last 5 years) security clearance

Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications that will enable development and review of Processes, and related Performance Metrics

Demonstrated ability to resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex

Ability to work well and lead teams in an interdisciplinary environment.

Excellent communications skills to interface with subordinates, peers, supervisors, subcontractors, and customers.

Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing

Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS)

Extensive Experience with PWB, CCA, and Harness fabrication requirements and Inspection methods determination.

Desired Skills:

ASQ certification

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

SAP application experience

Experience leading projects and teams

Planning new electrical manufacturing methods and processes for Production and development programs
